Welcome to the new look for Aviation and Space News for the American Aviator. Here you will find a new look and a new name. The new name is Aviation News. Even though our new name is Aviation News, this does not imply that our news will only be aviation related. Individuals who have an interest in aviation news usually have an interest in space news, therefore you still will find here a mix of space and aviation news, as seen in our original site. This new site resides on a more capable server, which will result in bringing more diverse aviation news to our reader. Our new server also provides us with the capability to update aviation news more frequently.

Here at Aviation News, you will find the most frequently updated aviation news on the Internet. Our news comes from an amalgamation of relevant RSS news feeds and they will be updated at least twice per day.

The American aviation and space enthusiasts lives in an exciting time. America is on the threshold of new era of space exploration. Both man and machine will be involved in this new era of exploration. Space tourism is becoming a reality. Active space ports are currently expected to exist in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, and of course Florida.

It now appears that the China Space Program will become NASA’s new and welcome competitor. Given that NASA has been sluggish in terms of a real and honest attempt to send man beyond low earth orbit, this competition from China is a needed shot in the arm for NASA. As NASA gears up for the new space race, our Aviation News journal will be here to cover it.

For the first time in human history, NASA will not be the only player within the United States when it comes to putting man into space. Burt Rutan, Sir Richard Branson, Anousheh Ansari, Paul Allen, Peter Diamandis, and many others are pioneers at the forefront of this amazing development. Aviation News will be following the exciting activities of these and other space pioneers, looking for technology breakthroughs, events, and new developments.

Here at Aviation News, you will find an amalgamation of aviation news mixed with significant space news. Selection of RSS feeds will be based on what we feel would be the most interesting to the aviation and space enthusiast. So whether you are a pilot who flys for a living, a recreational pilot who flys only on weekends, an individual who works in the aerospace industry, or simply someone who has an interest in aviation and space, Aviation News should satisfy your need for relevant information.

Aviation News will be here to cover all significant news from the world of aerospace. Aviation news from all points of the globe, not just the United States, will be presented. If it is significant you will find it here.
